This elderly client came to us and was very nervous about changing her kitchen. Her late husband had installed the previous one and had made some bespoke pieces, so she was torn knowing she had to remove it and start again.
We had several design appointments so she could take baby steps and wasn't pushed into making the wrong decision. The wish list was long, and we listened and ticked everything off for her. Easy access, a fridge freezer not undercounted like she had, an oven up high with telescopic shelves. The Quooker tap was high on the list, along with getting the right burner sizes on her hob to suit her collection of saucepans and frying pans.
The client loved the Fern Green from the first moment she saw it. An easy choice was made to have the Linear handleless style to keep everything sleek and easy to clean. All of the base units have pull-outs or internal drawers, so she doesn't have to reach inside on her hands and knees.
Stuart Abraham was again appointed to carry out the installation. He brought in an electrician and a plasterer, and did the plumbing, tiling, and flooring himself.
The client was thrilled with the finish. It has made her life so much easier, and she is enjoying cooking again.
