This client came to us after visiting a multinational retailer who couldn't offer any better design for her current space. We visited and recommended knocking the small wall down to open up the two rooms. We also suggested blocking up the window to have a tall bank of appliances, allowing us to install her wish list of a double pantry, pull-out larders, and a USA fridge freezer.
The design created a much more open space, and the BORA vented hob allowed for extra wall units instead of a hood. The Quooker tap meant no kettle on the worktop, and she had money left in her budget to get her wine cooler "even though she doesn't drink much wine!"
The door choice was our Princeton Harbour, painted in the main kitchen, with Pear Grey on the tall bank. Silestone worktops were chosen in Persian White with a 100mm upstand.
Stuart Abraham carried out the installation and organised all the electrics, plastering, and plumbing. The old kitchen was removed by JMT Waste Management Services, and Jake also took down the small internal wall to prepare the space for the new kitchen.
Our client went on holiday for two weeks and left us in charge of overseeing the entire project. They came back to a fully working kitchen, which they were thrilled with.
